He picked the car up one day from BMW and dropped it off the next day at Hartge, from there it went to the body shop for the aerokit and grill pianting. At the time the I had my clear markers on order, told him about the smoke ones and he wanted to see how I did installing them. When I first looked at trying to do it (before i got back on here to find KEF's instructions) I had no clue as to how to get to the markers and he bailed on ordering them. Now it's just not a huge priority for him. Both our cars are leased so we're trying to be careful as BMW will force us to put them back to stock before turn in, so that may be part of it as well.

Your partner has a sweet ride. IMO, it would look cleaner if he color matched the bodykit.

If you want to be different, how about doing the AC Schnitzer kit? I know it would look great in white

Hey 1SIKCAB, your AC kit looks great (BTW..did you ever figure out how to get to the fog light bulbs??), and if i owned the car I'd do it or the full Hartge kit, but as it's a lease I'll probably just do the factory aero kit and then figure out what wheels to put on... I am running out of time on the wheels as I already have 9,000 miles on them and am down to tread depth indicators, so gotta get these off and save 3/32nds to give them back to BMW. I love the OZ Canyons, but don't see an application for the E70..dunno...I'll figure something out...

He was going to paint out all the trim, which he did on his S'chrgd Rover, but then decided he liked the contrast with the black...also we've been told by our BMW salesman (who's a great guy and good friend) that BMW will want these back in STOCK/STOCK condition - so springs, exhausts, wheels (I'm hoping they don't notice sidemarkers on my car) will all have to be switched out prior to turn in... PITA...I turned my R.Rover back with a different set of wheels (although they were RR wheels) and had no problem..he turned his back with all the black painted white (and it was peeling off door handles and headlight washers) and they said nothing....whatever.
