Jay Jay. When did you order your X5 ? you're a hundred or so ahead of me, yet I'm still showing 111 status and you have a PCD date ? I'm suspicious that the dealer alotments play as much to do with anything than order dates. My dealer is one of 31 that got awards for last year, may not be the biggest, yet I'm thinking BMW doesn't go by first in, first out on orders.

I've got a Black Saphire Metallic on order and production has already started. I was lucky enough to get the final slot from my Dealer's October allocations. I checked BMWNA site and also called the 1-800 # and completion date is October 8th....and then delivery from SC to NJ. Whoooo-Hooooo!!!!!!

My production number is 7084XXX and color is Monaco Blue. I ordered mine in early August. I still have the "scheduled with not date".

PCD is awesome and free on a new car order!! We did it for my last new car 2005 545i and it was a blast. So much so that we went back twice with the DC BMW CCA for two M days - at a cost.

My best advice: go to the Performance Center ANY TIME you can - it's amazing! And they way they deliver your car to you down there is absolutely incredible.

My Prod # 70846XX Color is Alpine, scheduled but no specific date for production....
Ordered August 15th and it took 3 weeks to get my production #.....

My prod. # is 70842xx with prod. date of 9/28, completion 10/8. Maybe they're doing west coast orders first? Mine is mineral green. Web site still does not have my options list correct. Order sheet is, though. Crossing my fingers they get it right.

I posted the year to date production numbers yesterday for the X5.

Here are the June YTD numbers for X5 Diesels.

317 built in 2Q09......880 YTD...
