I wish there were cameras we could tune into and watch the whole process live....but then I would never leave my PC!!

Are you delivering in PA or at the Performance Center? If you go down there you get to see them being made. Not your own but its before you take delivery so you can pretend it is.

PCD would be an amazing trip that I want to do someday but I cannot get away at this time.
I wonder how long it's going to take to get My X5d up here after it's complete, I hoping no more than 2 weeks but maybe that is optimistic??

yeah, you really should if you buy another one new. I did it in 2005 on my 545 and would never not do a PCD or ED on a new Bimmer.

What color is the X you ordered? Wondering if it's Titanium like mine and grouped together...

my dark green x5 diesel also in paint shop and ready around 12th or 13th. Still don't have a PCD date yet...but, hoping to pick it up a few days later.

Yup... latest update on mine says it should be complete 10/13. We'll see how long it takes it to get to Chicago.
