They are keeping her overnight. Some kind of vacuum leak. Will update tomorrow.

I got the light on today
Went to Autozone and had them check it. Their Actron fault code reader said EVAP leakage and/or Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction
Does anyone know what's involved to fix this?

Tighten you fuel cap!

This one fault is the highest profit margin fix for all automotive dealers.

One porsche owner took it in, signed the work order...they did a full evap system check and found nothing wrong. $300. Dicks could have said "Lets reset it, check you gas cap and see if it comes back" but nope.

entirely different than an evap leak.....!

Actually, the X3 isn't too bad. It's nimble and fun to drive. It's just not my beast. Fingers crossed the part should be in tomorrow and I can get the X6 back Monday...

I've had other issues this week. I have an infection in my eye and haven't been able to wear my contact lenses. I can put them back in tomorrow. The world is almost right again.
