Creaking seats?

The front seats in my 2011 X5 35i Premium seem to be creaking some with weight transfer when starting and stopping. At first I thought it might be the seat belts but I'm pretty sure it's not. Anyone anything like this? The seats are the base, non multi-contour seats.

Thanks
Ben

Mine do as well. I think it's just a normal thing (not that it should be). I had them adjust the seat bolts and that fixed it a bit

My 2008 4.8i did it HORRIBLY! From basically day one. My 2007 3.0si did it as well. Luckily, knock on wood/touch wood....my 2011 35d does NOT creak. Sh*t, I really hope I did not just jinx myself saying my '11 E70 does not have creaky seats!!!

how about the creaky windows... that noise drives me insane. My 11 does it far worse than my 09 did.

Angry Creaking Seats

I have a 40d with creaking multi-contour seats that drive me nuts. Has anyone found a fix for this? I think in my case the backrest is at-least part of the problem.

Mine do every once in awhile but nothing major--I have the Multicontour seats. I've located the problem on mine it's the plastic where the all of the seat adjustment buttons are at the bottom of the seat. I just move the seat a little forward or backwards etc and it goes away. I think the plastic just gets "stuck" in a certain position after awhile and starts to creak + I have the 20s so obviously over bumps the ride is stiff anyways.

Yah my 2011 35d's multicontour seats squeak as well..

Nothing too badly or distracting though...

Hell, I wouldn't have even noticed it if I didn't read this thread

I used to have this in my driver's seat. I found that it was the black plastic on the bottom-most part of the left side (below the controls). You'll find that you can sort of shift that piece which is underneath and it has never happened again.
