Just wanted to give you guys a review. So I've had a couple weeks with the mirrors and I gotta say I really like them. Of course it was awkward for the first week not only because I could see more although a bit warped but also because the objects look even closer in the mirror. It was tricky the first time I paralleled into a spot. They definitely should have come like this from the factory. I love the blue hue in the glass, makes it look a bit more modern (at least to me). For the price, I would definitely recommend them. Like everything else with safety, this is just another aid so you can't completely rely on them so I will swivel my head back if I don't feel safe. However I have noticed the few times I swiveled my head it was what I saw in the mirror... so I guess you can say they work. This is not a solution to eliminate instinct and precautions but it helps.

I'm ordering a set of these as we speak and just wanted to post that I'm glad that I read the post above me - I would have just bought the blue tinted heated ones for $100 from the seller on Ebay but my wifes has auto dim and yes now that I look at the glass the connector is different -

Unfortunately I don't think you are able to "downgrade" to just get the regular blue heated mirrors if you come equipped with the auto-dim function, unless someone can tell me I'm wrong -

I don't care much for the auto-dim function (will probably code it off) but I do appreciate the heating function -

I imagine that, armed with a wiring diagram/pinout, and some connectors, you could make a small adapter harness to connect the heat wires to the new glass without the dimming hooked up at all. Not sure what sort of module errors that might cause.

Can't answer your question, but I just purchased and installed a set of auto-dim from a seller out of Latvia on eBay and they're perfect. Would know they were ever used and the visibility when driving is beyond good!

I initially did the replacement because the original drivers mirror was starting to stay darkened all the time. So this set was needed to begin with. Had to wait a little longer but a lot better price than most on the bay.

Good idea but too much time and not enough cost/benefit ratio - the auto dim aspherical set sells for $100 additional, so I'll just pay the extra - However, if it was a $300+ price difference we absolutely would be having that discussion - auto dim feature can be coded off as well which is nice either way
