Pursue the Damage....if it is not Documented and written down that the wheels were damage before they took it in then you should win the case bro....

mandatory for dealer service guys to have a paper in hand take down information about your car and possible damages before they take it in and you should have a copy of what the assesment paper has so you know what they wrote before they do work and check before you leave the dealer and asses your car...GL

Thank you, great info, I ask for that paper or photo and they said they didn't do any, I know that is not true.

looks good jayjay. Aero kit and the tinted tails on silver looks great with those wheels too. The ski rack adds a nice element. I am so torn on those wheels vs. 214s. Did you have to special order those 300M? I don't see it under Wheels for BMW.

Just so you know how it works:

Dealer accepts the car.
Dealer should document any defects or damage on paper, give it to you to acknowledge.
When you pick up the car, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE LOT, write down any damage on the document they ask you to sign before picking up the car. Anywhere on it. "Car damaged, wheels dinged and scratched"... whatever. Just in writing and linked to the document they MUST save.

If dealer fails to document existing damage, that is their problem. They aren't required to.... BUT IF YOU FAIL TO DOCUMENT the damage before you take the car, it is now your problem. Most people dont do this, they argue with the SA, everyone looks at the wheels, they say 'we'll talk to the manager tomorrow'...and then the story changes.

Did you do this? Or are you stuck trying to make them give you pictures to prove your case?

GL

They admitted the car was damaged by them, I am going in on Tuesday to hopefully resolve this issue, I did take pics the same day it happened, and also file a complain with BMWUSA, BBB of Trenton, dealerratet, and a couple others, I am not taking it lightly, I want my car the way I brought it to them.

If its any consoloation Neil my wheel that was repaired by Lexus of Bridgewater's "mobile wheel repair" service is better than brand new, I'm hoping yours come out better than when you brought them in.

And I'd also hope that they threw in a gift certificate or something for your trouble.
