Thanks blue350gt! No, I have no immediate plans to change the rear or the exhaust. The Vorsteiner lip will be the next aesthetic mod, and then most likely the MORR wheels. The tune will probably come in the next couple of weeks, so I'm excited about that. I will likely start another thread for the tune process since we're going to try and work a Stage 2. That will be worthy of a separate write-up!

fitment is pretty good but color is off... the bumper is a cooler white with a blue hue to it and the body has a warmer white with a hint of beige/yellow. two different whites.

The photo exposure is off in that photo in post #61. Here are some additional pics. In the 3rd pic you can see that the 'warmth' between the two whites is more or less equal. This is also visible in the photo posted in post #76.

Way to go! So all you needed was the bumper and fender flares for the retrofit? That's awesome. Thanks for blazing the trail. What is the name of the shop that did it? I might just be calling them.

And if you don't mind, PM the the install/paint cost as well.

Yep! Just the bumper (..with grills) and the fender flares. No need for anything else. I'd imagine that if you decide to use my shop (..Perfect Color in Anaheim/Placentia, California......ask for Enrique, and tell him Steve with the white X5 sent you regarding the retrofit), they will do a better job on your car than they did with mine.....

....and I'm 110% satisfied with the work that they did. I look at my X5 and smile every day. The Vorsteiner lip goes on this weekend.

Vorsteiner lip installed. My truck needs a wash, but you get the gist! Not the best picture quality (..iPhone5....sun's blazing....etc.), so I'm going to stop by EAS and have them shoot it again once it's clean.
