I purchased them locally in Glendale, California. The reps are well made bro. A few of us on the forum have them, so we can vouch for the quality.

Hey OP, nice looking ride! I can't wait to get my spacers installed. I'm still looking for the correct fitment. I'm having a bit of difficulty locating the specific P/N for a 10mm spacer set for the front and 20mm for the rear. I noticed you got yours from H&R.

Did you adjust your rear camber when you did the install? Any alignment tweaks? Thanks!

12mm/20mm will give you the proper look. You don't need the P/N. Just call/contact one the companies that sell them; they will have the information. I ordered mine from EAS (..and had everything installed in one visit), but you can get them from ANY of the vendors (..EAS, MRF, TMS, etc.). I didn't adjust my camber or perform an alignment. I'll let the H&R suspension settle over the next few weeks and have an alignment performed after I put on my custom MORR wheels. I wouldn't worry about an alignment if you're not lowering your X5.

Hey OP, thanks for your response. I'm thinking of lowering my X5 but I'm undecided. I'd like to ride in one that's already been lowered to see how noticeable the difference is in the overall ride. The cool thing about the mods is that you can do these at your own pace. And man, your pace is fast! I'll be following your post and pics! Thanks for sharing!

Anytime! I personally prefer all of my vehicles to be lowered. Sometimes it's substantial - like with my M3's - and sometimes it's modest, as with the X5. I felt like the 2" H&R kit was a bit too much for what I wanted out of this vehicle (..and it didn't align with the look that I'm striving for; the 2" drop makes the truck look too nose heavy). As per another thread, the 2" springs settled at more than a 2.5" drop; the 1.2" drop settles around 1.5". The latter was much more in line with what I wanted (..Skunk's X5 was perfect reference material, as was the individual who posted the thread in which he began with 2" springs and moved to the 1.2")...an even drop all the way around, with some fender gap, but minimized. As for the ride, it truly is like a stock ride UNTIL you push it around corners. It is then that you realize the handling improvement. It is very noticeable. You will love the drop on spacers Sue.

Yeah he is. He's going to fiddle around and see if he can get it to work. He told me that the reason why there isn't a Stage 2 available now is due to the lack of X's venturing into his shop to speed up development. I'll be the guinea pig; he's about 45 minutes away from me. Hopefully he's successful, otherwise I'll be stuck with the Stage 1 until he had fiddled enough to get it to work.

Update:

My X5M parts are in, and I'll be picking them up this weekend. It looks like my X may be in the shop as soon as next Wed/Thurs, and the turn around time is about a week. Exciting!!!!!!
