I'm thinking to loan autozone obd2 tool to pull codes. Anyone knows if their obd2 reader works for 08' X5? Don't know if there is any code.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead but I'm on the same page , the intank fuel pump on my 08 is recalled will this be the solution? I plan to tow it to BMW dealer but want to know that's forsure before they try and charge me diag fee
