That would be true if it were a 2009 or newer but mine is a 07. All issues have been fixed, in the end I didn't feel like dealing with Tomkinson so I just fixed everything myself rather than them having my vehicle for a month. Ended up putting a new rear air spring, valve cover, both solenoids, pre-cat O2 Sensor on it.

No absolutely not.

A PPI is simply an inspection. The CPO is an inspection plus a warranty. And if a BMW dealer misses a defect when they are doing the CPO inspection, you have NO recourse with BMW. They simply missed it. You can sue them if you think they screwed you. BMWNA will do nothing. People need to stop thinking a CPO is some kind of 'assurance' you are getting a good car.
