At least it reads fault codes...

Gonna try using WiFi and NCS. If that don't work, then I guess I'll have to order the wire also.

Thanks!

I ordered the ELM327 WiFi OBD2 . it worked like a charm I had to reset a CEL because of the gas cap issue. We will be doing the coding soon.

What's the difference between that and the VGate iCar2? I got the VGate i Car2 and it also reads the diagnostic codes and can code if the car is capable.

Thanks!

Apparently I CAN code my car with the BMWhatt - using their cable wire with an Android phone...

Anyway, I'm trying my luck with a generic cable from Amazon. I guess i'll just have to give NCS Expert a try.

Cables and BT dongles specific to BMWhat are now available in the USA (according to the last email correspondence from Parvis) I think on Ebay so why not just get what they recommend and you'll rest safe in the knowledge that your "paid-for" app works as it should.
As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the service reset and battery register functions are now up and running for the E7X model range, just click on the "IN APP" button to confirm.

Apologies, original cables and dongles available from Amazon. Read excerpt below.

..."We are happy to tell you that we could reduce shipping time and fees by offering our adapters via Amazon.com inside the US. Now you should be able to get your BMWhat adapter within a couple of days within the US :-)"
