Sorry, nothing big. Was just a mileage update. Still haven't gotten the F15 into the garage either for other mods/maintenance. E61 is in for CCV system, broken cylinder head bolts, and some other odds/ends. Been a bear getting the engine degreased due to spewing oil everywhere. Whole house smells like degreaser.

What did you do for your F15 today.....

Installed 21" OEM 612m wheels!

The wheels and tires were ordered in mid-July. The wheels came in right away, but I had to wait nine months for the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires to come in.

Those fill the wheel wells quite nicely.

Now at 85,000 miles on the odometer and it was time for an oil change. Pleased the dealer didn't find anything else except the repetitive desire to replace the three cabin air filters and engine air filter. Rear pads are at 3mm so it's time to slap on those Akibono grippers now. We'll visit Sewell BMW again in 5 months for the next drain and fill.

Thanks guys! The picture makes the tires look a lot "beefier" than they really are. I'm really happy with them so far and I'm starting to dread having to take them off for the winter.

I’m tellin ya! I swear the twenty ones made the ride better in every way. I was worried about the size negatively impacting performance, but it did not. For me, it feels as though it actually enhanced it.

Are your tires 285 front, 325 rear?

Oh for sure! Much improved ride. The runflats are just an awful ride!

Yes, they are 285 front and 325 rear.

Telltale squeak starting to come from the front blower motor at certain fan speeds or after hitting a sharp bump. At least it's accessible from the passenger footwell and doesn't require full dismantling of the dash like the E53 did.
