What shallow sub model did you use? And what amp? Etc.......

Are you gonna sell these at $100 shipped?

What is the depth of this box? I want to use a 10W3, and wanted to know if it'll fit in this.

schrei - I am using this woofer Pioneer TS-SW2541D 10" 4-ohm shallow subwoofer at Crutchfield.com.
Amp is an alpine - Alpine MRD-M605 Mono subwoofer amplifier 400 watts RMS x 1 at Crutchfield.com
I'm overpowering it a bit, but only cause I plan to add/hide another 10 somewhere.

I don't think a 10W3 would would. It would fit yes, but they require a lot more space than the shallow mounts.
That's why I figured I would offer the box to everyone, since JL makes one but its $500. Mine also take about a day or two to complete, so there's a lot more to it than some might think.

Offering them at 100 plus shipping. I just had someone ask about shipping to upstate NY, from here in Miami, and it was about $17 for UPS ground.

DKL - I put the amp on the left side, up against the carpeted interior wall (I don't have DSP or NAV). Perfect spot for it. Theres some videos on youtube as well if you wanted to know how to wire it all up.

10" DJ Car Speaker Steel Mesh 2 Piece Woofer Grill New: eBay Motors (item 250716669811 end time Oct-27-10 18:34:45 PDT) - this is the grill I used, works great and was quite easy to install. Looks very stealth, I'll take pics later.

Allstar, do you know if they make a 2ohm version of that shallow sub? That'd pull your amp down and give you more power

I don't know for sure. I was looking at a sub the other day that had both 2 and 4 ohm options, but I think it might have been an Alpine shallow. I might actually try one out since I have a gift card to crutchfield.

Nice! Crutchfield doesn't list/sell either your amp or the Pioneer shallow anymore, but they do recommend the Alpine shallow as a replacement. Even though you're probably making pennies on each box, good luck with the sales.

I do, what's your point? I'm just making an observation about the links he's posted and then wishing a buddy good luck with the sales of his enclosures.
