Likewise, I'm just trying to add a bit of humor here too.

Let's see, I've got a few shares of Eastern Airlines stock, or maybe you'd prefer my old Studebaker shares.

It's Friday, and it's been a loooong week.

I've watched movies while driving and still had backseat passengers quite surprised when they take a look back there and don't see some huge enclosure taking up half the trunk.
No doubt about that. The passive radiator setup they've got as the "sub" on the DSP hifi system is pathetic. My E39 M5 has way better factory subs (M-Audio package Nokia free air subs) but the X5 has much better midbass simply due to the fact that the speakers are bigger. It doesnt hurt that there is a ton more air volume in the cabin either. For $150, this sounds like a grand slam. I just wanted to hear it to get an idea because Im a bit anal.

The ONLY problem I had with my subwoofer is the magnets depth hitting the backside of the box. You can't see it in the pics since I've coated the box with a rubberized coating, but I had to cut about a 1" notch and move the woofer down that distance so it would clear, then I took that notch, woodglued and resprayed the whole box for the repair. Since you're making the boxes for basically Pioneer shallows, that shouldn't cause any problems for anyone like it did me as long as they stick with a shallow subwoofer.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to make a price change.... I've thought about it, and I'm getting a lot of orders, and it really is SO much time to build all of these (have about 10 to do by the weekend)... plus the materials and everything I am providing, being a one-man team, and just the attention I pay to each box, I think its just fair.
Price is going to be $150 Plus shipping.
*If you have already been in contact with me, and we have already exchanged info and everything else, you don't have to pay any extra. After this post, it will be $150.
I also have a ton of other stuff going on in my life, and can't spend everyday building speaker boxes, but at the same time, I'd like to do my best to respect everyone as a customer and respect their time. $150 is still not even close to what could be charged (again, attention to detail is the name of the game for my builds).

I don't know how this sounds, BUT it's WAYYYYYY cheaper than the "brand" version sitting in the same rear PS space in my X5...

Nicely done ...

Just paypal'd you my payment, thanks.

I hope you're making some money at this to make it worth your while. And always remember that when you've got a lot going on in your life, family always comes first. While we all appreciate what you're doing for us, make sure you're handling all those other things in your life too.

Considering the time I took just to make all the little angles, making sure they fit right, used the most amount of available space, etc...just to scrap it and go with modifying the factory enclosure, even charging $150 is a good deal after experiencing first hand what it takes to design these.

Yes, thank you James. Looking at it, it may seem like an easy thing to do, but it most certainly is not. Everything from the little angles on the side pieces for the back and front faces to countersinking and pre-drilling holes (which may sound like a breeze, but it gets annoying when you have to switch between three different drill bits for just one piece to go on.
I thought about $200, which I think would be the most fair on both sides. Still not even half of the brand box. So depending on what life has in store for me in the upcoming weeks and the amount of orders, I will decide whether or not I will be making that the final price. Think it would be still less than, but closer to a solid equilibrium price, no?
