Hmmmm, glad you posted that it's been rainy but not soo cold, but i will look into that. So is it the Icelink that i have to replace? If soooooo TomG can you help me out with this one? Thanks,

try hard restarting your iPod first. You do this by holding down the menu and play buttons at the same time. This will most likely do nothing - but it's worth a try. You will most likely need to replace the icelink, specifically the control module that is between the connection to the cd changer or radio and the input from the iPod. It's the black thing with a white BMW label on it.

Try disconnecting the ice>Link before anything to see if everything is back in order. A failed module will show the behavior you are describing.

Where was the ice>Link Plus kit purchased from?
