From the radio tuner there are 4 cahnnels that feed the amp the signal. You can probably just wire the 4 speaker outputs to that. I have not tried it though.

Otherwise there will be no reason for manufacturers to buld these giant subs.
I have not heard the shallow pioneer and I can be totally wrong but it seems like the better subs are heavy and deeper.

The deeper the sub the more room it has to move up and down in turn moving more air.
I ended up going w/ the L5 8" as well. Once I make the completed enclosure look nicer, i'll make sure to post up pics. I went w/ something along the lines of Zero's box, but took a lot longer to make it use up as much space as possible w/o making it protrude past the access so I can keep it hidden.

Nice Work.
How do the head rest monitors work with audio? Can you Nav up front, have DVD playing in back(headreset) and play rear DVD audio via car speakers? I assume you would still hear navigation.
Thanks
Kevin

The Avic can be configured to play the DVD that built in while having the front screen displays the Nav screen. The only thing I would have like to have is to have the map also display on the headrest. Unfortunately it cannot.

A bonus is the integration to the ipod Video. You can play Ipod video to the rear and have nav at front. Speakers will play the audio from the video sources.

Mic on mirror was better than in OEM spot. I wrapped the outside of the mic with electrical tape and it improved the performance. It was picking up too much background noise otherwise.

Camera is a Boyo license plate frame camera. Works great pointed on the edge of the bumper.

Any reason you mounted the GPS Ant under dash instead of running it to the rear spoiler? How is the GPS reception under dash?
Thanks

I asked Sobi (former X5 3.0 owner) and he said it still got great reception there. He said he didn't even need to tap the speedo signal for the GPS since it was still within like 50ft of wherever he was. I'm also just guessing it was for ease of installation since running all the way to the back would suck.

It was mounted in the dash for ease of installation although I do not have any issues what so ever. XM signal momentarily drops under big over passes if driving slow otherswise no issues at all. The speedo wire is connected so I have not noticed if the GPS is dropped or not. No complaints at all.
