NO CDC Audio.... that is a different story. If no audio on the CDC. Remove the 12 pin harness from the Sirius TO CDCD and MOVE the white brown wire from location 2 to location 3! Old CDC has a different audio ground pin location.

If you are near Austin, Tx feel free to swing by and I can take a look. I have gotten Sirius to work in a 1999 E38, I know I can get it to work in the 2003 X5

Martin
my NAV software is a modified v26.
as for radio software, in the hidden menus, it says
SW Level 49. keep in mind, i just purchased this
radio module from a dealer. the part # is 65.12-6 976 961.

about the CDC audio, i'll try moving the wire to the different
location and get back to you. unfortunately, i am in MD.

Not one to stir up old wounds, but did you ever get your Sirius to work?

i sure didn't. i think we came to the conclusion
that the part i purchased was not compatible w/
NAV. i put it up for sale here; in hopes to sell it
to someone w/o NAV and then purchase the correct
part, but no one was interested.

The additional sticker usually means the tuner is reconditioned and has later firmware.

In my 03' X5 (build date 1/03) I have a MK IV Nav. V27, and I ordered # 65 12 0 398 140 Sirius Receiver to hopefully work with my radio module #65.12-6 964 399 (Radio was replaced last AUG05)

Hopefully all of this will work.
