I was so happy that I had Sirius working that I forgot to check the daisy chain loop to make sure the CD Changer was working properly. This AM I found out that CD's were playing muffled with static so I started taking it all apart it putting it back together in sections and this is what I found out:

CD/OEM Cables to CD Changer Plays OK (stock set-up)
CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer Plays OK
CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer to Sirius Receiver CD Changer Plays OK
CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer to Sirius Receiver to .978 EXT CABLE to CD Changer and it plays muffled with static

This gets better.....I changed the pin from #2 to #3 per Martin's finding and I get music now ungarbled but when I turn up the volume I can hear the volume knob "clicking" over the speakers.

The clicking could be a missing or bad ground. Check your connections again to be 100% sure.

update....I swapped out the .978 cable for a new one and switched the pin again from #2 to #3 and I still get the clicking sound as I increase the volume with the knob.
