broknlgs24 is on a distinguished road
i have two 3 pin plugs going into the Sirius
tuner. one pin has wires that are white w/ red stripe,
white w/ blue stripe and white w/ brown stripe.

the other plug has solid black, red and white wires.

the fuse is 7.5A

There is a 3-pin connector and a 6-pin connector (only 3 pins used on the 6-pin), I need to know if the brown wire is on the #1 position and not in the middle (#2 position) of the harness.

Also, was the fuse blown?

the fuse was not blown.
i'll have to check on what
position the wire is in.

Here is what I am looking for on your BMW harness:



The brown wire needs to be in the #1 position, if not - you are using the incorrect connector.

that is not the same wire that i have.
that plug is black, red and white.

Here is a picture of the CD Interface connectors from a MY2006 X5, this is located in the access panel in the cargo area on the Driver's Side:



These should be the interface connectors your 977 extension cable is plugged into. Note the Brown wire in the #1 position and not in the middle.
