FYI for Mac users -

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere. For Mac users to burn the iso image, simply mount the image on the desktop by double clicking it, then launch Apple Disk Utility under /applications/utilities, then select the image and press burn. That's it.

Burn a fresh disk at the lowest possible speed and on the best quality CD-R media you can get your hands on. Put the new disk in your nav drive, cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Sounds like you're just using a trial and error method. I would suggest this is not a good idea. There's plenty of info on here and maybe you'd be better researching before acting?

V17.1 will not install on a MK IV, it's for MK III and below. Which type of Nav Computer do you have?

Hi guys First time i've every used a forum. Very Interesting.
I have just installed V27.1 on my MkIV. And it seems to work ok, But I do not seem to have the choice of "Birds Eye View" or "3D (Perspctive View)".
It seems to be only in the 2D "birds Eye" view.
Should there be an option?
How do I change the view?

Cheers

If you have 4-1/70 or higher, you need to enable the Perspective feature by doing a one-time setting change in the nav computers service menu. Do this:

* Push the "MENU" button to get to the the main menu.
* Scroll to the "SETTINGS" menu selection and click the knob to select it.
* Push and hold the "MENU" button for about 8 seconds to enter the GPS Service Menu.
* Scroll beyond the bottom to a 2nd page, where you will get the Perspective option.
* Click the knob on the Perspective option to select it. - Now you will be able to select Perspective within the navigation map view.

Thanks Pete, did exactly like you said and now its up and running perfectly. Many Thanks.

I have also just installed the 2006-2 dvd (Purchased on ebay) it was supposed to also have fixed speed camera locations on it but for some reason it is not showing these.
