It is possible that BMW did not intend the splitscreen function to work with radio and CD on the 16:9 display.
I know it works with the BM24/4:3 combination which I have. But my friend with BM24/16:9 it does not work I don't know why. |

I'm in Australia which radio would I most likely have in a june built X5 2006 diesel....(C23 BM ocieana without rear monitor?)how do I find out?Im about to install a MK3 purchased from user on this site.Any special precautions i need to do before i attemp to recode just finished building a simple I/F?

Possibly Oceania, possibly Business RDS. Try both and see what happens :-)
Or look at the radio to see what type it is, it's written on the radio label. no special precautions, but I would test the interface using a iBus reader like WinBus or IBusAnalyser first before you use it to transmit. Jochen |

Are these programmes downloadable???I think I found it Ibus Analayser 1.011 does this programme receive data from your car befor you transmit?

On my computer top right corner it says RDS.....with navcoder which option is RDS? could i stuff thiungs up with incorrect option coded?
Do I use navcoder or winibus to encode nav system? Im confussed. Thanks Quote:

Thanks for your help.....appreciate your prompt response,yes navcoder is a hellava lot easier to understand.I have built the simple I/F is there a way to test it before I slap it on and try it?....you mentioned winibus?
