Create a CD from the ISO image, it is that simple.

So, basically what I'd be paying for is someone to burn a DVD, AND current maps? The maps alone would be worth it, unless there's a source for me to download those as well. Any suggestions?

By paying the guy you are actively supporting software piracy.
The seller is selling you copies of maps for a profit. That's blatant piracy.

The original V32 OS CD costs around $10 USD at the dealers, or can be downloaded for free here:

Original map prices vary according to where you are in the world. Contact your BMW dealer.

Oh sorry, I'm still unfamiliar with how all this nav software works. I know you can buy new discs from BMW, but I see all kinds of map discs on the Internet and don't know how they differ, or what's ok to use. I haven't found a BMW navigation FAQ that covers this sort thing (software updates, tweaking, map discs, etc.).

It's not specific to BMW.

If someone is selling Rolex watches for $49 each, when you know they cost $400 new, would you not be suspicious? Would you support that trade?

I asked for help, not to be berated due to lack of familiarity on my part. I have owned this particular vehicle for only a couple of weeks and I'm merely trying to learn about what I have and what options there are to make it current. There was no intent to support piracy.

Now, what would actually help me is to provide suggestions on the best way to bring my system current and any tweaks (3D, night mode, etc.) that I might enjoy. At this point, all I know is that I need updated OS v32 and a set of map discs. Beyond that, I'm not sure I'm aware of what else I can do. I enjoy electronics and am interested in tweaking my system, so I'm eager to know what the possibilities are.

Load the standard unmodified V32 first to bring your system up to 4-1/(1)00
3D is part of the standard BMW OS, it is not a hack

Insert whatever map disc you want for your area

Then decide which of the various hacks you want to load.
Night Mode is a hack (use NavTweak)
Audible Speed Camera Warnings is a hack (use POIsON)
Over POI lists is a hack

Remember that MKIV/III/II/I use the High map NOT the professional. I think High is blue and the other is green. All will use CDs and the MKIV will also use DVDs.

Thank you very much guys! That gets me moving in the right direction. I'll get the current OS and go from there.

Well, I got myself a 2011 High DVD now and it doesn't work either. I updated my OS to V32 and my old map DVD works fine. Any ideas why this new DVD is not working? I am getting a message, "Error in reading Map CD/DVD. Please check the CD/DVD".
