Another succesful upgrade

Upgraded the 2004 Z4 3.0 Nav last night before going to Boulder from Denver to a party. The changes are AMAZING!

Stil have the MKIII in my X5; one of these days I'll upgrade to MKIV in the X5.

Thanks again to Jeff and Ferri!

You need to have activated some POIs (ie. Gas stations) FIRST to need to turn them off.

Other than taking a bit more time to refresh/redraw the map, I'm not seeing any problems (yet) with this OS. Anybody experiencing the redraw problems noted by a few early adopters?

Any idea what I can do with these to make it work? What is the actual name of the disk you guys are making (I was thinking I could make a disk with that name and put those files on it and HOPEFULLY it'll work...
You need to take those two files (which are image files) and use Alcohol 120% to create the CD. I don't know if they have a Mac version of Alcohol 120% or not

um.. seems like I'm the one having a problem here.
ok I downloaded files, burned at 4x speed which was slowest one.
so now, I put my key in position 1. took out dvd, and put the CD in.
screen said "Wait" then "Put correct CD/DVD" and the unit ejected CD out.
any suggestions?

What software did you use to burn the files after you extracted them?

You didn't just burn the files right to a CD, did you?

The files are image files that Alcohol 120% uses to make an exact duplicate of the original. You need to select the option in Alcohol 120 that allows you to make a disk from an image. Point Alcohol 120 to the folder where you uncompressed the 2 files from the download and let it make your CD.

^ I used Alcohol 120% also,
but not sure that if I did correct,
can anyone tell me how to use alcohol 120%?

Thank you!
