It is also a update disc 10.01 so it will update over any OEM version number.

V32 and v32 are the same mate, identical, there are no changes from v31 to v32 for either the mk3 or the mk4.

v30 (4-1/91) onwards has the Dual layer function, I haven't heard anything about the voice loading issues, like I said v31 and v32 are the same.

The Navboot files for both v31 and v32 have the exact same creation date.

Here is the SIB for the v32 OS update disc, as you can see no changes from v31 to v32.

i've seen that's no new features on v32 prior nav OS v30 and v31, but there is some improved software:

"CORRECTIONS INTRODUCED WITH PRIOR NAVIGATION SOFTWARE V31
NAVI03 and DVD-Top NAV system-improved software for:
  • Reading dual layer DVDs
  • Loading voice files"
i assume that dvd top nav is mk4, please correct me if i'm wrong

thank you

You are right (top nav = mk4), but the salient points are "PRIOR and V31", this means v30.

I take this as a reminder of the updates over v30, which would be correct.

I'm more than happy to be proved wrong, I would love v32 to be different from v31, but the fact is it's not, it's the same, identical, no changes.

I'll open up my downloaded v32 and have another look at it, but I think I'll get the same answer.

No Problem, you're welcome.

I've just double checked, both v31 and v32 navboot files are same, with the same creation date

V31
14 January 2008, 16:58:54

V32
14 January 2008, 16:58:54

and same size (in kb).

V31
11.2 MB (11,817,132 bytes) Size
11.2 MB (11,821,056 bytes) Size on disc

V32
11.2 MB (11,817,132 bytes) Size
11.2 MB (11,821,056 bytes) Size on disc

ok, moded os cd burned, os loaded to mk4, the new logo appears

1. how should i see night mode working, it's change itself at specific hour or i have to change manually?

2. speedcam location uploaded to map, inserted with ultraiso to original disc image: the file seems to be exact same size as the original (carin.db) with same creation date/hour - it's ok?

thank you!

p.s. i used igo8 txt file, hope it's ok
