2010 TELEATLAS DVD

Nomad, the 2010 DVD's from TELEATLAS no long have a DB folder. The CARINDB file is over 2GB and is in the root of the DVD. There is still a TPD folder.

Can the CARINDB be edited by POIson?

UPDATE: Tried importing POI into the CARINDB. When saving the following error message was received.

Unable to allocate block in CD database, database must be converted to DVD

Don't know about the NA disc mate, are you sure its a HIGH disc? POISon work on all HIGH and cd based systems I've tried it on.

The DVD's work fine in the car unmodified. The internal file structure has changed from the NAVTEQ maps.

The part number is 65 90 2 158 157 - DVD North America High
Provider is now Tele Atlas.

Is there anyone who can comment on the error message noted from POIson. Does Nomad monitor this board or is there another way to reach him for support?

I can't comment as I've not seen the errors mate.

Were the other files in the same dir as the carindb when you tried to patch the poi db?

Nomad does monitor the board, but he's working on another project at the moment and I've not heard from him in a while.

What information would you like me to post that might help in the diagnosis of the problem? I performed the following steps

1) Opened DVD using UltraIso
2) Copied the entire DVD to the POIson folder
3) Launched POIson pointing to the POIson folder
4) Added about 5,500 camera POI's
5) Created a POIson1 folder within the POIson folder
6) POIson copies all orginal files to the POIson1 folder
7) Save the changes. This is when the error message appears. There is an error message generated for every POI imported. The program continues through and saves changes. See the first post in this thread for the error message
8) Create an ISO using IMGBURN from the files in the POIson1 folder
9) Burn the ISO using IMGBURN
10) Maps are visible on the NAV but no camera POI's are visible.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested if anyone has a solution on the error message noted from POIson for the NA 2010 HIGH maps. Thanks.

Sounds like navteq have added the POISon block that they used on the Euro 2010-1 then.

I may be able to help, but I'll need some files from the NA disc to confirm, any one want to help?
