MK IV refuse to boot new OS

Hi!

I were going to code my MKIV from monochrome, to colour last year, but somewhere in the update process something decided to crash it..

I lost my Navi option on my mono display, and got no responds via navcoder, so im without any OS.. I sold my colour screen when this happened, and forgot about the whole retrofit, but now I want to fix it..

When I try to load a new OS cd, it starts to spin for about 5-6 seconds, then it stops for 25seconds, and spins for a new 5-6 seconds and stops. This is the sequence it loops in, with nothing else happening, except the power led blinking once in a while (gonna time it later).

I have tried different medias and firmwares, burned in mode2 and on dvd and cd, but no luck yet... Maybe its back luck with the medias, or has the flash been corrupted when I tried to code it from mono to colour?

Since I tried to make it a colour MKIV, can it be that it tries to boot itself in colour now, and therefore will not sync with the monochrome screen its connected to?

Hoping that your skills may be able to help me... Thanks!
