+1 , or having the AE come on instead of the DRL , that would be very nice , i wonder if thier is a way to do that ???

There is, many people have done it with their AE's. I hope to have it done by this weekend~

Hopefully I can understand how its done and create a write up.

Thanks! The wheels are staggered with the same exact dimensions as style 87's. They sit a bit wider though, I believe the offset is different, but I love em too!

wiring the AEs to fade on and off when you lock/unlock the X is hard to do on the X (from what I've heard). I think you have to find a way to run the wire into the cabin and tap into the footwell light.. and someone told me they couldn't figure out how to get it in.

Wiringing them as DRLs just requires you to tap into the ECU.

Check out the light pattern. Crappy phone pic but you can get the idea. I think I have to adjust the drivers side a bit. but no big deal.

One thing, and I hope it doesn't become a big issue. The sprinkler system went on last night and must have soaked down my front end. I woke up this morning to find slight condensation inside the headlights. Bummer... I emailed the seller, but didn't hear back. These were "factory sealed" so hopefully this is just a primary thing to get any moisture from inside the lamps out.

The drivers side looks fine for a left hand drive vehicle.

Hey was there alot of condensation?? I got mine in today I might have to add some silicone or something

save that $500 for later mechanical issue. pre-facelift models are too old to add any mod to it. these e53 pre-facelift are biatches to take care of.

Add the silicone. It wasn't much condensation, but I plan on adding more sealant for good measure.
