Hey guys,
Don't know how I missed this thread untill now. These h/lights look the ducks nuts.

RP & Moh,
I'm sure you're both well satisfied with the finished product. They really do look fantastic. C'mon Moh more pics please.

Novax,
I'm surprised you saying "E53's don't turn heads anymore". I'm going to disagree as not all folks out there know the difference between an older v a newer X5, especially at a glance. I get comments from people who know very little about BMW's who said they thought my X5 was only a few years old. I've only done minimal mods thus far but one thing I keep on top of is, that I keep it very clean all the time, and that in itself is enough to present my X in a good light (if you know what I mean).

Glad your feeling better Mo, trucks looking good! I still didn't wire up my AE's, havn't had the time nor guts to do it.

Foomph, the lights are awesome, I wish you were stateside so you could get in on the deal. I can probably help you out, if you're interested, I can look into shipping from my house to yours. I deal with over seas shipments all the time! They are real good quality, and the best part, they are only housings + self leveling motor. You can use your stock HID stuff so the error messages are non-existent. I was gonna sell my X, but now I'm a bit more driven to keep her.

I'm sure they're not going anywheres.

Ordered... hope to have them in by the weekend.

Wish the DEPO brand had amber turn lenses, but I could always return to stock if the look isn't there.

How did I miss this thread?!??!

Can anyone with these lights sneak from the back of the lights and to find out how these LED are wired into these AEs? Is the whole AE ring filled with the LEDs or just a few LEDs spread out evenly?

Anyway to confirmed these are sealed from factory and now by a hand job?

I've been extremely happy with these DEPO lights. But the AE's on mine are not LED and I do wish to have brighter AEs. I did not want to open these lights to replace the AE and risk having condensation problem (which I had before with other crappy lights). So I will be interested to hear the feedback on this from you guys as well.

Well done and they look awesome. Look forward to more photos

The whole point is to get rid of the amber turn lenses... whos gonna see em anyways, you have that Dinan supercharger. It will only be a bluurrrrrr :zoom:

I was told by the seller that they are factory sealed. They are holding up really well and the AE's are complete with LEDs, not spread out at all. I've had them installed for over 2 weeks now, and I love them! Not one complaint, and trust me, if something was wrong I'd be the first to bring it up!

I would not think there are ballasts for LEDs so the wiring doesn't have to include a relay. I doubt LED set would even trigger the relay. Buy a new set of colored LED halos and bake the headlights. YOu can add silicone or some other stuff upon reassembly like some RTV/ head gasket maker
... and if you mess up you will have an excuse to buy new headlights and sell the old one to me for cheap.:D
