You have served this country for a long time, as you mentioned in previous posts. I respect you for your loyalty and sacrifice. I disagree with a lot of what you say. But at the end of the day it is differences in opinion. I hold no animosity towards you. Instead of continuing to create conflict, I like to wish you and your family members the best during this time of trouble. We are all witnessing a most unfortunate and disastrous pandemic this world has ever seen in over 100 years. I hope this serves as a chance for the good of humanity to shine through and prevail. There will certainly be an end to this pandemic. Let's hope it ends well for most of us. |
Obama didn't serve either.
Biden had one son serve just long enough to get the Big Chicken Dinner for drug use. Bernie.... he fits right in at almost any Eastern European country. ---------------------------‐---‐-------------------------------------- But what is interesting is that our Constitution never made mention of prior military service being a requirement, nor the publication of one's tax records. I would like to see former military in the White House but it's not a deal breaker for me as I only want America to be successful and follow the Constitution. Taxes... I personally couldn't care less, but it has become the informal norm in our society to present them.. I would rather repeal the 17th amendment and have state legislators choose senators again. Once it became a position chosen by the people, the people chose to do for themselves directly instead of a state doing things to make the state better therefore making things better for the citizens of those states. I would also point out that previously there was no salary for these elected positions only housing and a stipend for food. The people would go as their duty upon being elected and then return from DC with no additional accumulation of wealth or power. Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk |

I would have voted for ANY candidate the Democrats put up there. Except Biden. There were around 20 candidates to choose from and they made the same mistake they made in 2016. I am pretty sure, I am not alone. I won't be voting for Trump either, but all the votes that are going to go third party or people who aren't going to vote at all who would have voted Democrat are going to give us 4 more years of the Cheeto in Chief. Maybe the DNC will learn something this time? As for the belief that the Democrats might have handled this situation better. That may be true to a degree (debatable) but there is no way they would have been completely prepared for it either. Anyone thinking this would have been sunshine and rainbows with the Dems in charge is upholding the tribal politics our country is currently suffering from. You should always be cynical and critical of ALL in government, from all parties. They are in public service for the money. Remember, that is their chosen career, they aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. |

They're the same and I lucked into them after I actually shattered a wheel on a cutout in the pavement with a 6" pipe in it. I got the whole set for $525 USD [emoji3060] now it's my biggest fear that there won't be any replacements over here if needed. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ff108ba13b.jpg Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk |

The ballots have never had any man or women, that I felt truly worthy of my support. People give me a hard time about this choice. But, I risked losing my life to be able to make this choice. Some voters have never risked their lives for anything, let alone “anyone”. But, yet I’ve been judged in a way by some people that I am foolish for my decision. I don’t get upset or angry. I make a joke about it by saying, “foolish, for risking my life for a percentage of people who could careless about me, or not voting”? Generally the badgering stops there. I serve my God, the Christ, and any human being in need, that I am capable of helping regardless of their belief. |

My position is that this was going to suck no matter who was in charge. The Democrats would have shut down and sheltered in place, but maybe sooner. The economy would still have taken the hit. Bailouts would still have been a thing. This is a crazy world event, let's all just keep our eyes and ears open so that we can be realistic about what an even perfect response might have netted. It's pie in the sky thinking to think we could have "defeated" covid by doing A or B, or X or Y. |
