Yeah Crystal, hopefully we can put all this behind us soon.

I am thinking of taking the cover off old girl. The sound and smell of a blown BMW will take my mind off of it all. It’s been about 2 months.

We can still talk about BMW’s here right? Don’t want to offend anybody.

Hell yes I would plead guilty and then I would do my best to prove my case in court and that I had to take the deal offered by rogue agents (that's why he hired lawyers, duh)......Hell what do suspect I would do to someone who made a threat like that (if I felt even a tiny chance of success)?

You would spend every $$ to defend yourself and then when faced with financial and personal disaster, you and anyone else would say enough. When you have the Gov against you, your dead as they can print money. This is why the burden of poof is on the prosecution, not the defendant. Flynn when faced with leaving his family without any financial future allowed his then attorney to throw in the towel. His new attorney who has won against these out of control Gov lawyers before, knew the tactics used, the buttons that were pushed and interesting enough knew what might be in the file case that they did not release to the defense and withheld from the court. All of which was denied by the same Gov attorneys. Soon came the counter lawsuits and rulings forcing the Gov to open their files to the court. Guess what? No case.....
Flynn's bad luck all started when he chose to disagree with the O' admin. Then all the forces of the Gov hit. Can you say Rail Road?...

Now back to our Red Death Flu responses, OPEN UP the businesses so i can get a hair cut and a cheese steak! Oh how about a Phily Pork sub form Tony Luke's!!!!

If it pleases your highness, Happy, you can talk about anything that tickles your fancy. Just qualify it with a contribution for the virus discussion.

PUWAHAHAHAHA.....

You just don’t know when to quit! Do you ever get tired of making yourself look like an ASS?

Am I still doing a good job? LoL...

One point on the government printing money:

Government borrows the 3 trillion that the Congress is thinking of pumping into the economy. Treasury bonds are issued to the genenral public and foreign investors. These people buy up the bonds and the government pays interest and eventually the principals in 5, 10 years.

So in the short term we do not have to face the consequence of borrowing such a huge amount of money to stimulate the sagging economy.

But eventually we will have to payoff this huge debt, or the future generation
will have to.

All the financial experts and economists agree that this short term borrowing is a must.

We need to make sure our economy is still there for us to save.

Is Happy a reference to Jon Favreau's character in the Marvels movie? He's a pretty cool cat.

I don't mean anything nasty Happy. But I appreciate any contribution on the topic, anything at all.

I am afraid the Federal Gov can not and should not bail out every failing State or City that has been poorly managed. Everyone agrees that a temp patch is required. The disagreement is length and amount. You can disagree on policy but doing so does not make the other person "evil", or "wanting everyone to die", etc. Most of the population is ready and able to safely go back to work with normal safe guards. I personally never stopped, in fact only increased my hrs due to demand and opportunities sought. However 50% of the Civilian Gov workforce had no work remote capabilities so they are on extended paid leave. Contractors are screwed. As they are paid when onsite and working. No onsite no cash flow.... Along with all the mom and pop services that supported that same work force. My idiot Gov closed all the State Parks and roadside stops. So now you get to park on the shoulder and walk in....Where is the logic of that ruling?

I agree. Republican's concerns on spending too much relief money and not getting enough results is valid. I am hearing that some people are not willing to go back to work because they are getting $500~$600 per week with unemployment benefits, which is more than what they would get going back to work.

Democrats also has a valid point. Stimulate the spending and jump start the economy, while we still have one.

It's both sides of the same coin, for lack of a better analogy.
