fyi, one of my favorite features of leopard (also on Safari 3 beta) is "merge all windows" under the window tab in Safari. Very useful, as is "reopen last window/windows from last session", which is nice when safari crashes due to a macromedia flash issue which has been happening lately.

You never answered his question and Adobe is not 3rd party software for PDF. If you want to manipulate a PDF, you'll need Adobe.

It can "create" them very easily, but not edit them. To create a PDF from say Pages (iWork program), you go to file>export>choose PDF. This coverts your Pages document to a PDF. To edit a PDF you would need to purchase Adobe like Wagner said.

So to exactly answer your question, yes, your MBP can "create" PDF files.

OK you mac Guru's here's the latest.

Since the Leopard upgrade of the Macbook there is a sleep problem. :confused:

The Macbook is suppose to go to sleep if you close the screen but it isn't asleep. The Screen is blank, the display is closed, no applications are running but the little white light in the front doesn't pulsate as it should. But more interesting is that every minute or so the Macbook seems to wake up for about 2 seconds making the usual "wake up" sound the Apple logo lights up as well then goes off. A minute or so later the cycle begins again.

Preferences for screen saver, and energy save, are set to never and that has done no good. I haven't looked at the Mac rags for an answer but if you have one pas it along.
