everytime the screen saver activates, the screen backlight turns off. how can I get it to not do that? thanks

Possibly, but more than likely it will be when i can afford to spend the time to do the upgrade and afford the $200.00. We have 4 Mac's around here. :rofl:

Preferences > Energy Saver > adjust display sleep delay :)

didn't fix it :(

also updating to 10.5.1 now...

You have to change it for both power adapter and battery ;)
