Important Job Interview, HELP!

Hey Y'all!

So I have a very important job interview with a corporate company (Aetna) on Friday, with the regional sales director.

Now this is my dream job and I want everything to be perfect.

My Question,

How Do I dress?

I'm considering buying a suit for the occasion but I'm unsure if that will overdressed in today's world (as I'm used to the polo/pants combo)

So that is my issue, how should I dress for Corporate? I'm either considering buying a new suit today and having it tailored today or buying a new outfit (Slacks/Tie/Dress Shirt/Belt/Dress Shoes)

Please Help

Attena is corporate buy a suite, on the east coast most business people wear suites every day.

I would go suit, especially if it is at the corporate office...

Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression...!

Whatever you choose, be sure you feel confident in it as well. Many HR people can read a persons body language and if you are uncomfortable in what you are wearing, it will reflect all the way through the interview.

GOOD LUCK! :)

not really, shirt and tie only if you are fixing photocopiers

But I agree with the advice to wear a suit for a corporate interview - good luck

Yes nice blue or dark colored suit, white shirt, red or gold tie.

Maybe also a stainless steel Rolex.

Definately a suit! You do not want to be under dressed for an interview.

Got to say, I've never ever dressed in a suit on a job interview. Usually nice slacks, nice dress shirt and a tie. IMO, and only IMO, a suit..unless you're going for a VP type of role, is over done and any employer worth a damn will not be impressed by your 'suit'. Again, IMO. I've hired one person in my lifetime who was in a suit at an interview and that was ONLY because of his resume, nothing to do with his attire. Now that said, had he showed up in running-pants and a t-shirt, I wouldn't have talked to him because IMO he wasn't taking the meeting seriously.

Driving up in a nice BMW also makes a good impression, maybe you should trade that VW?
