I'm not incapable of understanding the purpose of the iPad, I understand it very well thank you.

What I don't understand is your statement that because Apple released an iOs upgrade that the iPad is now unquestionably a worthy device and I your follow up post did nothing to explain your point further.

If you understand what it's purpose it then why do you keep
asking as if you don't?

No one said it was an "unquestionably a worthy device" That's
you language. What I said is that an OS upgrade made the device
able to do things it could not do when it first came out. From
where I stand that makes it useful to a group of people who
may not have considered it because of it's limitations before the
OS upgrade.

I heard the ipad accessory suppliers already have size specs on new ipad. ;)
That's how the pic posted earlier leaked.

Yup, lots of cases and stuff have been floating around for a few months. "Some" iPad accessory manufacturers are too small to get any Apple love. :( Word on the street though, is that a certain wall mount company will be able to adapt quickly once a retail unit is in hand. If the rumors are true that it is the same size except the back is flat rather than rounded (a la iPhone 3G versus 4) then that wall mount product might work in its current design.

I have read that the overall size of ipad is reduced but the screen size has not, which only means the frame size must have reduced. See post #200.

I still can't figure out what the defined purpose and use of the iPad is.
