NO, on MKIII it won't work!!!!
|
Im not sure what is wrong but I have downloaded the file about 6 times in total, from the 2 different sources in this thread and everytime I go to extract the 2 files the MDF file is corrupt and wont extract... Has anyone else been having this problem? I am going to try and download it onto another computer and see if that helps at all.
Thanks, BEATNUT |

v27 worked great. Thanks Guys!
2005 330i Stock NAV upgraded to V26 V26 upgraded to V27 - extracted with Winace - burned with Alcohol 120 demo - burned at 44x full speed (real life= 24x) - Maxell CDR media - Accept screen still present - American accent woman - 2D and 3D all present - street names not visible in perspective 'bird' mode |

Greetings FourOhFour,
I down versioned to 2.4 then to 2.6 to get rid of the nag screen. It took a day or two before I saw the interstate shields again. The local freeways just showed up like your photo, then a day or two later, all was well again. Maybe the nav system has to cache these images? Cheers! Quote:

However, I do agree that it's still safer to burn at lower speeds if possible (i.e. less chance for a write error). |

I quite believe those that say - burn at the slowest speed and don't take the risk - for me, haste in burning a new copy and thinking "... it will be OK using that disk, it reads OK on the PC" nearly cost me my Nav Computer. I still cannot believe whoever designed and manufactured the drive failed to put an 'emergency release hole thingy' like almost every other CD and DVD drive has. Makes the whole thing a bit of a risky business. |

I use a TDK CD-RW written at 10× speed and I have no problem.
