I didn't measure the errors but I've tried both of my burners using different types of discs. I also just burned a copy of V27 and it loaded with no problems.

SUCCESS! After many attempts, I tried a different splash screen. The one I was using was a properly sized GIF of 13kb. I went to a LARGER file (44kb) and it works. Something must have been wrong with the original GIF file. Maybe it was saved as an interlaced GIF or something.

does anyone have a link to download the software for a Mk 3 sat nav system? I need the DIS coding program
(CD 22.0 onward) Can anyone please help??

DIS coding has nothing to do with MKIII OS software. Lot of info on this forum on downloading and burning and loading the OS.

Not exactly..... in principle - yes, it is two different things but when you change something by DIS in navigation unit it requires to put naviSW CD into navi device....
