Not possible, the 1 and 2 are generic and are used in other places, (like the radio, so "radio 1" would become "radio day").

Open the rom_col scheme and change the green values to red or brown, using the sliders.

Yes, you can have any sky you want, it under the romicons and scroll down to #8 that's the sky.

Open a photobucket account and then use the [img] tags to insert into the page.

You will need to experiment yourself my friend, there are loads of combination's, you will need to try some and see if you like the result, there is no definitive answer.

This is why it took me 2 1/2 weeks and over 30 OS updates to get the blue scheme, it's trial and error.

No, you can only have 1 sky, in all colour sets.

You'll find the text in the text strings - look through them.
Then overwrite the text, and make a new OS disk

Remember to increment the OS version number to force the load...

Would you please tell me how to increment the OS number?

KiwiJochen 10-16-2009 04:04 PM

Increment means to increase.

so if you have 3-1/63 as the current OS, an increment will take it to 3-1/64

just alter the "3" to a "4"

It`s in the swver.tbl (or similar named) file

Hoping someone can help here. I have read all 50 pages of posts.

I'm in the US and the voice I have on my NAV is female american

This is an MK4 system
I really miss the British dude. The only options I have is English, Spanish, French.

I have downloaded Navtweak and under modules I see Lng_American and Lng_English. I dont know which one of these its using my guess is the American one.

How do I enable the male british guy on my NAV? I know how to replace files and how to burn the file I just need to know how to make the voice change.

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Why don't you just configure the car to GB, UK and the third language of your choice?

Then no nav hacks are required and everything is done properly.

Changing the cars 3 languages can be done by any BMW dealer or you can do it yourself using NavCoder and the simple interface
