Not a reply, but a question.
How is the language for the text menus selected?
I modified the background colors for V32 and everything was OK, except for water colors. Fixed that and found that the menu for "INFO ON LOCATION" under
"INPUT DESTINATION" and the text under "PRODUCT INFORMATION" had changed to Italian (from US English).

Wow, what a mission.
I finally got Navtweak to work and burned my disc, thanks to all the helpful ppl in this thread.
I went to load it in and as I had previously updated my system to V32 it said 'your software is up to date' and it wouldnt overwrite it with the new data.

Suggestions as to how to get my 'new' v32 into my system would be appreciated.

The version number of your new version must be different to the version number already loaded, otherwise no load occurs.

(Standard procedure to protect flash memory from unnecessary write cycles.)

So set the version number accordingly

What he said, you need to change the version number.

I changed the name in the iso as you can see top left, is this correct or should i do it elsewhere?

Thanks

No mate you need to change the version number in sw_rel.tbl file (you need a hex editor).

could you please take a screenshot and show where the version number is?

Is it here?

Drag and drop out of the iso, edit with a hex editor, then drop back in and save.
