navigation system v32 update
 

hi i know this is a bmw forum but i own and 2001 rover 75 cdt(well it is the bmw 320d engined car and rover was under bmw ownership) i have a mk 3 navigation computer which ive been told is the same unit in the E46 (ive got the highline satnav system in the car) can i update the software ,ive got a 2001 map which as you know is outdated,can anyone help me to turn it into latest map,with birdseye view ,full postcode etc

Search around for posts by Keith Alexander (UK) as I think he has a 75. He sometimes posts on the bmwnav yahoo board. Search there. He could help you. I am pretty sure it is Keith and not Mike Brooks. He is probbly on the Rover boards too.

hi experts... i have done the upgrade but when i start the navigation i can see only the pointer and no maps!!! if it was a problem with the DVD unit then it wouldnt be able to read the upgrade CD.... tried other working map DVD but still only the pointer no roads....

Hi! I have a BME E46 with 4-1-12 software.
Is this IMG file OK for European cars either, or it's only for US?

BMW, of course, not BME...

OS for nav is the same everywhere.

I want to change the splash screen on my 03 540. I think my latest s/w version is 29. What is the easiest way to do this?

This is what I have so far V31 SW3-1/63 so can I up grade to a newer version like V32 with split screen. Please help me I am new at this?.
