Any more word on adding the speedcams to the 2010-1 disk? I have scoured the web and found some evidence (i think!) that people have it working, but it is all in Italian, and I have no idea what they are talking about :rofl: Google translate included next to each line...

I use to edit the file one by one; it is actually time consuming but the result is exactl what you want/need.
It is a kind of not really easy procedure but basicly you need these steps:
- make your own POI DB converting POIs from .ASC to MKIV language (very easy);
- update references in all files in DVD (medium difficult and time consuming);
- edit and update .LSC file (medium);

Anyone else have problems selecting the folder that the DB is in with poison? As soon as i click OK (after browsing to the folder) i get an error fron windows and it says do i want to check online for a solution or close the programe?

3. Copy lng_rel.tbl file from poison zip archve to /V_2/RR/0101/BMWC01S first 4 bytes in lng_rel.tbl must be the same as in sw_rel.tbl

Burn CD and upgrade the system.

E:Adding POI to map database:
1. Copy map database from CD/DVD to the hard drive (bibliogr and carindb files are enough fo CD, bibliogr and DB folder for DVD maps).
2. Run poison.exe, open map folder (folder where bibliogr file located)
3. Add your own POI or import from plain lon/lat txt or csv file.
4. Save modified database
5. Insert modified database (carindb file of DB folder) back to image using UltraIso.

F: Burn the disc.

OK i did all of this. 2009-1 with v32 software, and 2010-1 with v29 software. I dont see any speed cameras on the map, and i dont see any option anywhere to turn the alerts on.

1) Can someone confirm the location of sw_rel.tbl ?
2) DB_1 file size changed from 1,232,535KB to 1,268,728KB so POI definately were added by POIson
3) I've tried both the normal settings menu and the hidden one and i cant see the alert option anywhere, where should it be?

I'm so frustrated, i've spent 5 hours on this tonight and still cant get it to work. :(

I had same problem with my 2010 DVD. I changed icon to an existing on the 2010 and now it works.
