Congrats to the 'Canes. I was rooting for the Oilers. It was a good game and Carolina bounced back from Game 6 in a big way. It amazes me how these elite level athletes can dig down deep and come back to play so strongly. Too bad there has to be a loser.

Wish I could have watched the game I don't get a tv connection till tonight and I couldn't find any good old fashioned antennas. I was rooting for the 'Canes souly for the fact there are two former Flyers on the team that were more than deserving to have their names engraved on The Cup. It's about time Brind'Amor got one... wish he was still a Flyer though considering the player he's become. Damn Lindros... damn that bastard to hell!

Brind' Amour was awesome the whole series and I think he was the reason they won Game 7. He must have made one helluva speech in the dressing room. He got to hoist The Cup first followed by the two other guys who have waited the longest to win it. I think it was Wesley then Hedican. The look on those guys' faces, especially Brind' Amour was pure elation, not for the money or the prestige but because they fulfilled their boyhood dreams. That's me bias for hockey players. I think they're the last pro athletes to still play for the love of the game.
