Wait I thought they were being sarcastic about the arm bands? With the way everything is going now the fanaticals seem to be doing a good job of killing each other off. So pretty soon guess we wont have anything to worry about.

here's another Idea then: Create a special group of people which could wear THESE arm bands:

and Strip-Search everyone else !!!!

My problem with sarcasm is that is known to be 25-50% truth, and then you have some radical who believes it and takes it to far, thats my problem

Hey guys...stop wasting keyboard time...this is a serious matter, and perhaps if by taking a step back and looking at the problem, not from a standpoint of preconceived bias, but from a standpoint of finding a solution...we'd all win. Nobody wins a pissing contest.

The blood and history of the middle east and the ages-long conflict between the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim world are no going anywhere, but tomorrow morning planeloads of people and cargo need to be moved around the globe, and life must go on. Innocent people don't deserve to die at the hands of a firebrand minority. Unfortunately, there are no rules anymore, so hence the tragic reality of scrutinizing people based on racial, cultural, or ideological parameters. It's an ugly reality, but what we can do is make that reality a shared burden.

A planeload of kids that lands safely does not discriminate between Jewish, Muslim, Hindi, or Christian children. It's good for everybody.

Ideed dear Accella, my point with sarcasm is precisely to get people thinking about some kind of constructive collaboration ... hence the only non-BS line I wrote in my first posting of this thread;

... we deal with the issues that CAUSE people to become terrorists in the first place....

I BET you THAT will diminish the growth of terrorism more than anything else.....
