Seriously, it would be cost-prohibitive and impractical to search and interrogate all the passengers forever. Assuming profiling works they should do it, based on a through statistical research, yes it is amoral but it is life but since death situation. However I am doubtful that it would work unless someone invents "Jihad Brainwave Scanners." I've been saying this repeatedly, it is not about Muslam vs. Rest of the world. Please stop this knee-jerk reaction.

Profiling simply does not work because it is based on a specific set of parameters (surname, ethnicity, country of origin, appearance), all of which can be circumvented and defeated through concise planning. There must certainly be a number of blue eyed, blond haired individuals (men and women) willing to blow themselves up for 72 virgins somewhere in this world, so the profiling issue doesn't hold water as far as I'm concerned. Everybody is a suspect. In this post-911 apocalypse that we now life in, even the nuns get randomly searched. That's life until a better alternative is identified.

Just read an article in the newspaper and TSA spokesperson says "we are doing behavior profiling as that is more effective than racial profiling which gives false positives and false negatives".

Not all Muslims are terrorists. But (so far) all terrorists have been Muslims.

Well I just wouldn't say all terrorist groups are Muslim throughout history. However, recently, is certainly seems bias in that direction.

I knew somebody who was on the PanAm flight that got blown out of the sky in Lockerbie...the most peaceful, life-loving guy you could imagine. He had been volunteering on a kibbutz and was returning home.
Think about what it must have been like going down in that plane. Imagine all the lives shattered. The time for political correctness has unfortunately passed, and as a white male, I feel no obligation to be an apologist for the social crimes committed by by white males from the 1500s until the present day. If Timothy McVeighs kept blowing things up, I would happily accept that all blond-headed, blue-eyed farm boys from Nebraska be profiled and anybody entering the country from Denmark would be highly scrutinized. Perhaps all males between 15 and 50 should be required to get pre-clearance before flying. What would the harm be? You want to fly, great, pay $25 and get some sort of security certificate that all airlines can access. Something has to give. What does it take to get on a flight on an Israeli carrier? What are they doing right? IMO, there is a viable option that provides a level of security without becoming fascist and without cavity searching Grannys from Peoria. Edit: This thread brings to mind a family of Persian rug importers in Vero Beach, Florida. (Falasiri Rugs). The nicest, professional, pro-American folks you could know, but again, these guys look no different than than any number of jihadi mugshots--the Falasiris obey our laws, love the USA, and deserve not to be blown up on an airliner. I wonder how they would feel if all Arabic males were singled out for scrutiny? They might agree with the practice, as long as it was thorough and consistent.
