A big problem I've noticed here on the east coast is the lack of signaling one's intentions, especially for lane changes. I have no problem using my directional signals to inform others of my intention to change traffic lanes or even to make a right or left turn. I even indicate that I am about to make a move BEFORE actually starting said move as to let others know what I am about to do. This way they won't have to guess what I'm doing and be aware of where I'm going. I'm convinced a good percentage of accidents occur because people guess wrong on what others are about to do. It's not like you have to make hand signals anymore. What are your driving habits?
