Good luck Tom! If you want to meet up for lunch sometime in NYC let me know--it sounds like we kinda do the same thing. The new SEC guidelines made ML's decision an easy one imho.

Keep your head up. At least they told you today and not on fri. morn. I just reciently received an email for a collegue about this.

Damn, Tom, tough break, but I'm glad to hear you plan to go ahead with the vaykay and that you've got a good severance package. You could always begin a part time career selling Bee Em Vees till the next big opportunity comes along!

Tom - look at it as a sign that a new and better opportunity is just around the corner. Enjoy the vacation and try not to dwell on finding the next gig until after you return.
