Alexandria, off Van Dorn St, just outside the Beltway. Despite the drive, I still prefer the Amphora to Silver Diner or Bob & Edith's!

Hey, I did alot of the planning, platting, and layout work on number 8. Good developer helped make that place sing.

Juan - I, too, am x-NJ - 4 years out of Edison - Can afford to be retired out here (not in NJ) where there is NO humidity and you can get alot for under $250K - just as well where I live is not listed - Don't need anymore people here to screw it up - NJ, the only state where it's free to get in but you have to pay to get out.

I do miss my home state. It's just too bad that it's gotten SO incredibly expensive to live there.

New Hampshire had a few... Bedford was on the list, and that's where Janix lives.. And as far as I know, gojira-san and adventurelarry both live in the Nashua area.

Hey back. No problems with Dennis. It looks as ugly outside right now, with normal afternoon rains, as it did with Dennis. We just had a couple of days of rain, some pretty good wind, and a bit of surge (3-5 feet). A few boats were messed up, but I think that we came through OK. Biggest problem here is I'm starting to think that we live in Seattle, except that's about 100 degrees hotter. I'm anxious to see the sun again. I guess, as a Floridian, you get a little antzy when the sun's not out for a couple of weeks.

I've been mostly working like crazy, trying to pull things back together a bit for the company, and coaching softball for my 3 girls. At the company, we're coming out of what has been probably our worst year yet (we're 6 years old). It's been a little difficult, but after thirsting to death for more than a year, we have now added 2 offices, about 6 staff, and we expect to add about 6 more by spring. It is feast or famine.

Now, I gotta find time to get back on that barge of mine........
