Because it costs five times as much as a Sigma for very similar functionality. I find that the buttons get pressed too easily, and occasionally reset the trip odo and time during a ride. Now the switch inside the left shifter has gone after a year, and the display only shows the small and middle front chain rings. That means that for most of my riding, on the 53 chainring, the cadence is displayed incorrectly. A switch is expensive, so I have left it, putting up with the nuisance factor.

Nice concept, but poorly executed IMO. I bought the Flight Deck on the tandem for the digital gear indicator, since I didn't like the mechanical in-line cable indicators and it is too hard to look down and see the chain from the front (captain) position.

Next time I think I will go with a Garmin Edge GPS.

My bike is having a issue with fourth gear it seems to pop to the next gear.
My guess is that after first 150 miles things have stretched and need adjustment.

Is this something you can adjust your self or should I take it to a bike shop?

read the manual or look online. you should be able to adjust it yourself. If you bought it from a bike shop, I would milk them with the free adjustments. Otherwise, learn to do them yourself. A lot of adjust has to do with listening and viewing alignment. Note that the gears/chain will probably continue to adjust with further cable stretching until 800-1000 miles.

I picked up a new 2007 Madone 5.0 (naked carbon- looks awsome!) for $1950 - has full ultegra. Has the equivalent to the new 5.2 carbon technology (OCLV 120). Great bike for a great price.

I would also look at Fulcrum, Mavic, and Easton.

Nothing wrong with my current Alum Easton wheel, just that the new ones are lighter and more areo. I guess I have the bike mod bug. Just seems that they look nice and would let be go further and faster.
