for you with dishwashers....this may be a dumbazzzz question. I've looked online and while some pre-rinse, do you pre-rinsh your dishes and pots.

I am aware there is a art to the PH, using the proper soap, powder vs. gel packet, etc etc. I am not a dishwasher guru but the Kitchenaid we have in the office is loud but get's everything clean.

I have a top $$$$$ Miele for home. Uber quiet but I swear, 2 years later and I am still getting dirty dishes if I don't pre-rinse and or lightly scrub soiled dishes. Other have sworn they cram their Mieles to the brim in all sorts of angles and it comes out spotless. I on the other hand have to get the dishes just right, nothing blocking each other, etc....it becomes more a art of a chore. The kitchenaid at work, we just load it in, filler up and let the beast go to town.
