1080p LCD
I have LCD and prefer it over plasma. The reviews bear it out. Recent LCDs have overcome the contrast and blacking issues. (which were minor to begin with) FYI: PS3 is the best overall BluRay Player out there, still.  www.cnet.com is a great resource for general info, ratings and reviews as well as the ones mentioned by Mallomar.
